Laika was born out of the split of the awesome Moonshake, who were on Too Pure
when it was a cool label. The band broke up, with Callahan carrying on his own
("The Sound your Ears can follow", etc.) and Margaret forming Laika with Guy
Fixsen, Lou Ciccotelli and others. They released three albums, "Silver Apples
of the Moon", "Sounds of the Telescope" and "Good Looking Blues". If you like
this one, you'll like their older stuff... try Moonshake's "Eva Luna" LP as
well, and the "Big Good Angel" EP if you can find them.
